Andromeda Galaxy
Andromeda is moving towards us at about 200 miles per second! Someday we’ll merge with her. It’ll take a bit of time, as she’s about 2.5 million light-years from Earth. She’s larger than our Milky Way, at about 150,000 to 200,000 light-years across, and contains around 1 trillion stars.

Rosette Nebula
Also known as the Skull Nebula and one of my favorites. She’s located in the constellation Monoceros and is about 5,000 to 5,200 light-years from Earth.
She spans roughly 100 to 130 light-years across and contains NGC 2244—a bright open cluster of young stars. The cluster's stellar winds and radiation cause the hydrogen to glow red.
