The best description I’ve heard is that I am relentlessly exuberant about living and learning, and that I always have jam hands… kind of like a Pooh Bear situation.

I write about and study the stars because I believe we are the universe examining itself. The sheer improbability of us being here on Earth, connecting with one another, keeps me looking up far past my bedtime.

For fun, I travel to astroarchaeological sites and historic observatories to learn more about women’s contributions to astronomy.

I’m slowly chipping away at a degree in Astronomy and Planetary Sciences, and I’ve researched and published as part of an exoplanet research team. My creative work has appeared in PANK, Mythopoeic Society Press, Rutgers’s La Fusta, Carlow’s University’s Triskellion, and the LA Theater Tribe.

I hold an MFA from Carlow University, where I’ve had the privilege of returning to participate in craft lectures. I’ve attended The Writer’s Hotel, the Anam Cara Writers and Artists Retreat, Niall Williams’ Kiltumper Workshop, the Community of Writers, and I’m working with the brilliant Elisabeth McKetta’s 2025 and 2026 Book Year program.
