About me.
Living in a little cottage, taking pictures of space, researching exoplanets, and writing stories about stars of peculiar spectra.
I study, image and write about the stars to remind me of the importance of life on Earth. The stars remind me of how impossible it is for humans to exist, let alone experience connection, passion, art… and yet here we are. The stars remind me to care for every moment we get to be alive and to care for every inch of our planet.
My novels and stories are lyrical explorations of identity and belonging with edges of magical realism. I’m currently working full time on a novel inspired by the Harvard Computers, women who made great discoveries while classifying stars on glass plates.
I’ve had the honor of working on research teams to study exoplanets (planets outside of our solar system) and I continue to slowly chip away at my astronomy degree.
I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Carlow University. I’m proud to teach classes for them from time-to-time.
